WHAT IS BAPTISM?

Baptism is a public profession to others that you have declared your faith, obedience, and discipleship to Jesus. It is a confession of faith in Christ. Jesus has washed you clean from your sin, and now you have new life in Christ.

WHY SHOULD I BE BAPTIZED?

In scripture, Jesus was specific to his disciples about two things before he ascended into heaven. He told them to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," and "teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”  If you have made the decision to follow Jesus with your life, baptism is a next step to obedience in your relationship with Jesus. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Please bring a towel and wear a dark colored shirt and shorts when you come to be baptized. Make sure you have a change of clothes for after baptism. We will walk you through all other logistics of baptism after you fill out the interest form below.
